Change in Accepted Payment Policy – Effective March 1, 2019
Dear Valued Customer,
As a business, we accept payment in standard forms: a company or certified check, ACH, C.O.D., wire transfer, and some credit cards. View all our accepted forms of payment on our Payment Policy page.
Capital Adhesives accepts credit card payment as a courtesy and will continue to do so. However, beginning March 1, 2019, Capital Adhesives will initiate a 2% convenience fee on all credit card transactions.
Why is Capital Adhesives charging credit card convenience fees?
While credit card convenience fees are a nuisance and additional expense, there is a legitimate financial reason: credit card companies charge a fee on each credit card purchase we submit and these fees continue to rise in response to consumer card rewards, safety, and security. These fees are not built into our product pricing.
Capital Adhesives invoices directly, business to business, and only for those products and services you’ve
requested; the new convenience fee helps offset some but not all of the credit card company charges. Capital Adhesives does not profit from this new convenience fee.
Are there options available to avoid the credit card convenience fees?
It is still free to pay by check or ACH, but if you want to pay by credit or debit card, we will charge for this convenience beginning March 1, 2019.
We hope you understand our position and will plan accordingly.
If you have additional questions or would like to set up payment by ACH, please do not hesitate to contact our Accounts Manager, Dave Tripp, at 317-210-7209 or email@example.com.
